In the first step, Azelaic Acid gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells. It also inhibits the formation of new blackheads, cleanses pores, and hampers the growth of Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. As a potent antioxidant, it further neutralizes harmful oxygen radicals. Consequently, acne marks are reduced, and the overall skin texture is refined.

Niacinamide is a vitamin B3 derivative closely related to vitamin B3 and a true multitasker in skincare. It regulates sebum production, clears pores of excess oil, and simultaneously protects them from future clogging. In a study titled “Therapeutic Effects of Topical Tranexamic Acid [...]” the brightening properties of Tranexamic Acid were demonstrated. It appears that Tranexamic Acid has the capability to restore the skin's natural colour, effectively fading acne marks, pigmentation spots, and minor scars. It also reduces redness, calms the skin overall, and offers protection against the ongoing effects of UV radiation.

Zinc, when combined with PCA (Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid), is a key component of the skin's Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF). The NMF serves as the skin's natural hydration system, imparting it with resilience, elasticity, and moisture. Additionally, Zinc PCA can regulate sebum production, soothe skin irritations, and inhibit the growth of acne-causing bacteria.

As if the many outstanding properties of Vitamin C weren't enough on their own, we've also added a touch of real gold. This combination not only soothes the skin and acts as an anti-inflammatory, but it also serves as a natural preservative for the serum. Vitamin C balances skin discolourations to achieve a uniform skin tone.

The inclusion of gold particles prevents the Vitamin C from oxidizing, thereby maintaining its high efficacy. It penetrates cells rapidly and, when combined with the body's natural glutathione, offers highly effective protection against free radicals.

This makes Allantoin excellently suited for wound healing as well as anti-ageing. Dexpanthenol (Provitamin B5), which is converted into pantothenic acid in the body, is considered a little miracle worker in the cosmetics industry.
